Located in Southampton and willing to travel up to 30 miles of Southampton. CV Summary: My name is Diego Altamirano and I am Argentinean with a touch of Mexican and Italian. I did my undergraduate studies at La Plata University (Argentina) and after that, I moved to Amsterdam to do my PhD under the supervision of Prof. M. van der Klis. After my PhD defense, entitled "Different Manifestations of Accretion onto Compact Objects", I was granted a 5-years research (Postdoc) position at the University of Amsterdam. In October 2013. I moved to Southampton University as a University Research Fellow, to work on X-ray observations of Black Holes and Neutron Stars, using the best space telescopes available today. Lecture Topics:
